Hedo Turkoglu is definitely one of the Orlando Magic's most underappreciated and underrated players. He is also way more awesome than Kobe Bryant. Why? Because he has a beard, he isn't a douchebag, and he isn't a rapist. Today's post is more of a rant abut how I hate Kobe, but also about how much I love Turk and his beard. Even though basketball is my favorite sport, assholes like Kobe Bryant (and the Lakers in general) just make me want to punch babies (bearded and nonbearded, alike) in the face.

Tim Ruiter's father

Tonight I was watching the National Spelling Bee and after each word, they would show the child's family that was in the audience. One of the contestant's (Tim Ruiter) father had an awesome beard that I would like to dedicate today's post to. He looked like he had just came back from spending a month in the mountains. Unfortunately, I can't find any photos of him, but if you watched it, then you know what I'm talking about.

Do you remember the show Ripley's Believe it Or Not? I saw this photo on an episode once and even though it is so obviously photoshopped and fake(like most of the things on that show) I still think it is absolutely adorable. Maybe if a bearded lady had a child with a bearded man then it actually could happen...or not.

Ugly Bat Boy

I discovered this mysterious creature while wasting time on StumbleUpon. Although it's not a real beard, the fur in the front kind of makes it look like this cat has a giant beard. His name is Ugly Bat Boy (Uggs for short) looks this way due to a genetic mutation which unfortunately took the life of his sister. Luckily he has a wonderful home with a veterinarian in New Hampshire who loves him, even though he's been considered the world's ugliest cat. I think he's kind of cute though....right?

I'd like to start this post by apologizing for the lack of beards lately. The end of the semester is just around the corner and I have been extremely busy with work and school. Justin Bobby...does he even have a last name? In case you don't like stupid "reality" shows like me, he's famous because of The Hills on MTV. Throughout the seasons he's had numerous facial hair changes. No beard, simple goatee, shaggy homeless beard, etc. My personal favorite is when he had a goatee and short hair and didn't look like he had been living on the streets.

ZZ Top has been around since the late 1960s and Billy Gibbons and Dusty Hill have been rocking the beards ever since then. Ironically enough, Frank Beard doesn't actually have a beard. Gibbons and Hill were once offered $1 million each to shave their beards for a Gillette commercial but of course they declined. No amount of money would rid them of their awesome beards.

Brad Pitt is the perfect example that not all beards look good. While he is extremely gorgeous in the left picture, he looks awful and homeless and gross in the picture on the right due to his beard.
